On the RoCo ferry Grimaldi "Grande San Paolo" we return from South America to Europe .... probably for the last time ....
We sail from Montevideo (Uruguay) via Zárate (Argentine), Paranaguá (Brazil), Santos (Brazil), Rio de Janeiro (Brazil), Dakar (Senegal), Banjul (Gambia), Hamburg (Germany), Tilbury (Great Britain) to Antwerp (Belgium).

On the RoCo ferry Grimaldi "Grande Nigeria" we travel with the OKA from Hamburg (Germany) via Tilbury (Great Britain), Antwerp (Belgium), Dakar (Senegal), Conakry (Guinea), Freetown (Sierra Leone), Vitoria (Brazil), Rio de Janeiro Vitoria (Brazil), Santos Vitoria (Brazil), Paranaguá (Brazil), Zárate (Argentine) to Montevideo (Uruguay) to start the second part of our South America trip.

We interrupt our South America trip and travel with the OKA on the RoCo ferry Grimaldi "Grande Amburgo" from Montevideo (Uruguay) via Santos (Brazil), Dakar (Senegal) and Tilbury (Great Britain) to Antwerp (Belgium) where we disembark.

The Vogt-family travels to Peru through the Panama Channel on the "Amerigo Vespucci" (Lloyd Tiestino-Italia Line).
The "Amerigo Vespucci" was built in 1942 as "Giuseppe
Majorana" (BRT 9,744), 1944 destroyed by Germans at
Genoa, 1947 salvaged and renamed to "Amerigo Vespucci". The vessel was scrapped in 1979.
