Travelling the world's remote areas alone requires much
better preparation than travelling in convoys. One
has to be able to handle all sorts of technical, medical
and environmental emergencies by oneself.
Even if the list below looks like being totally paranoid,
it is in fact just part of serious planning and the
hope to never use the whole lot.
